Blazer Jobs is seeking a motivated new graduate Speech-Language Pathologist to begin a Clinical Fellowship in St. Louis, Missouri. Your CFY is the bridge between graduate school and independent clinical practice, and you deserve meaningful supervision and support throughout that transition. With dedicated CF supervision, mentorship, and professional advocacy, you’ll gain valuable school-based experience while completing the professional requirements necessary to advance your SLP career.
About the Position
As a Clinical Fellow, you will provide speech and language services to students under qualified supervision. You’ll work alongside educators, families, and related service professionals while developing your clinical independence and gaining practical experience in a school-based environment.
Job Duties
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct screenings and assessments under appropriate supervision
- Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Implement evidence-based interventions targeting speech and language needs
- Track required CF hours and maintain appropriate fellowship documentation
- Participate in regular CF supervision, mentoring, and professional development
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completion of required academic coursework and supervised clinical practicum
- Eligibility to begin an ASHA Clinical Fellowship
- Eligibility for the appropriate Missouri provisional licensure pathway for supervised practice
- Ability to meet Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts requirements for speech-language pathology
- Ability to obtain the appropriate Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education credential for school-based practice, as applicable
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
