Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California—both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) candidates are welcome
- Experience in pediatric and school settings
- Previous experience providing speech therapy in schools required
- Knowledge of teletherapy best practices is beneficial
- Experience or comfort working with PreK to elementary caseloads
- Strong consideration given to outstanding SLPAs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse PreK-elementary caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain documentation in accordance with district and federal protocols
- Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and communication success
- Engage actively in meetings and consultations as needed
- Leverage teletherapy modalities where appropriate
