Pediatric SLP Clinical Fellow | Riverside, California
A school district near Lake Elsinore, California, is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team with an immediate start in June 2023. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide services to a PreK through elementary caseload within a school setting. Candidates with prior school experience are strongly encouraged to apply, as it is a key requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in PreK through elementary grades
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student outcomes
- Provide therapy in accordance with school district policies and best practices
- Support compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education services
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), including CFY or CCC credentials
- Experience working in school settings is required
- Pediatric and teletherapy experience are advantageous
- Candidates with strong Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) backgrounds will also be considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
