Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) | Oakland, California

A full-time speech-language pathologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year serving Pre-K through 5th grade students. This role is based in a school setting near Piedmont, CA, offering a contract opportunity with a 37.5-hour workweek. Candidates who have recently completed their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply, as supervision will be provided. This position involves working closely with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and managing VOCO support as part of the rehabilitation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students from Pre-K to 5th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Supervise and provide guidance to SLPAs and support staff.
- Conduct progress monitoring, assessments, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports students’ communication needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure or certification eligible for school settings.
- Eligibility to complete the Clinical Fellowship Year with supervision available.
- Experience working with children in early childhood through elementary grade levels preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
