Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Clinical Fellows (CFY) and experienced SLP-CCCs encouraged to apply
- School-based experience required for this district
- Prior work in healthcare or pediatric settings preferred
- Teletherapy competencies a plus
- Consideration may be given to strong SLPA candidates with relevant school experience
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to PreK and elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, track progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and ancillary staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Adapt interventions for in-person or teletherapy delivery as needed
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
