Qualifications:
- Currently completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
- Eligibility for state licensure as required by Washington
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Eagerness to work with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students under ASHA supervision
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and document student progress on speech and language goals
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to evaluations, and offer recommendations for classroom support
- Maintain accurate records and stay current on best practices in school-based speech therapy
