Blazer Jobs is seeking a motivated new graduate Speech-Language Pathologist to begin a Clinical Fellowship in Ellicott City, Maryland. This opportunity is designed for clinicians entering their first professional year who want dedicated supervision, mentorship, and support while completing their CF requirements. You’ll gain valuable school-based experience while developing the confidence and clinical independence needed for a successful SLP career.
About the Position
As a Clinical Fellow, you will provide speech and language services to students under qualified supervision. You will collaborate with educators and families, participate in IEP processes, monitor student progress, and develop practical clinical skills while progressing toward your professional certification.
Job Duties
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct screenings and assessments under appropriate supervision
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Implement evidence-based speech and language interventions
- Track CF hours and maintain fellowship documentation
- Participate in regular CF supervision and professional development
- Maintain compliance with state, district, and federal requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completion of required graduate coursework and supervised clinical practicum
- Eligibility to begin an ASHA Clinical Fellowship
- Eligibility for the appropriate Maryland SLP licensure pathway for Clinical Fellows
- Ability to meet Maryland Board of Examiners requirements for supervised clinical practice
- Ability to obtain any required Maryland State Department of Education credential for school-based practice
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
