Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Current California SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) welcomed
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, though dedicated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across K-12 settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, share progress, and advocate for students’ communication needs
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
