Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in Washington
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates welcome
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Able to develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Document progress, maintain compliance records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Adapt therapy techniques and materials based on individual student needs
- Provide consultation and training to staff regarding speech and language interventions
