Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Washington
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of AAC devices and assistive technology (including eye gaze systems)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work both on-site at a middle school and with homebound students
Role Highlights:
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE, with hours from 7:30am to 3:30pm (8:30am start on Mondays)
- Mondays dedicated to homebound students, utilizing AAC devices and supporting communication needs
- Serve four homebound students (2 elementary, 2 secondary) each Monday
- Tuesday through Friday dedicated to providing speech-language services to middle schoolers (supporting a caseload that requires 725 minutes monthly)
- Opportunity to overlap with the current clinician during onboarding (starting as early as the weeks of 2/9 or 2/23)
- Deliver direct therapy, conduct evaluations, and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring each student receives individualized care
