In these roles, you’ll:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to diverse caseloads, including students from Pre-K through Grade 12 or Pre-K through Grade 6, depending on position.
- Complete and document evaluations, eligibility determinations, IEPs, progress monitoring, and service delivery using required platforms.
- Engage in meaningful communication with parents, staff, and administration via email, phone, and school systems.
- Coordinate schedules and meetings with fluency using Google Calendar, including IEP and parent conferences.
- For compensatory services, travel between multiple sites and manage a dynamic, manageable caseload with the support of a strong special education team.
- For elementary-based roles, work onsite with a consistent caseload (approximately 45-55 students) and utilize documentation systems such as Paddynet.
- Provide required summer services (for compensatory role) from June 1 through June 30.
Preferred qualifications and experiences:
- Current or eligible SLP-CCC, CFY, or school-based licensure.
- Background in pediatric and school settings (experience with IEP processes is a plus).
- Strong organization skills and ability to thrive in flexible settings.
- Experience documenting using online systems and collaborating with educators, families, and administrators.
