Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Alpharetta, Georgia
Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2024-2026 school years! This opportunity offers both onsite and teletherapy positions, providing flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful difference in elementary, middle, and high school settings. Roles are available for immediate start and extend through May 21, 2026, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. Onsite SLPs may choose full-time or part-time schedules, while teletherapy SLPs fill full-time positions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience working with children and adolescents in school or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- For teletherapy: proven technology competency and comfort with virtual platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments and direct therapy for students with speech-language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Support students’ communication needs in both individual and group settings
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain current best practices
