Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Camp Lejeune, NC

This contract opportunity is ideal for enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologists with SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY qualifications who are passionate about working with children in kindergarten through 5th grade. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through June 11, 2026, offering a consistent schedule of 39 hours per week.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential
- Experience with pediatric populations and/or school settings (K-5) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with both individual and group therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Skill in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
- Strong organizational and collaborative abilities to coordinate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Flexibility and adaptability for working in a dynamic educational environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to an elementary caseload of around 45 students
- Assess and diagnose a variety of communication disorders
- Design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to students’ individual needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and comply with district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with faculty and families to support student progress
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding communication development and strategies
