Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid North Carolina SLP licensure
- SLP-CCC highly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply
- Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric settings
- Comprehensive understanding of IEPs, speech and language evaluations, and evidence-based interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to K-5 students
- Assess, diagnose, and document a variety of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress reports, and support academic teams
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Foster positive student relationships and create a supportive therapy environment
- Serve as a resource for families and educational staff regarding communication strategies
