Qualifications & Skills:
- Active SLP license and state certification required
- Background in secondary education and/or middle school caseloads preferred
- Knowledge of IEP process, progress monitoring, and evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities
- Collaborative mindset for working with school teams and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech services to students on a secondary education caseload and mixed itinerant schedule
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized goals for students
- Complete and update IEP documentation and progress reports
- Consult with educators and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Travel between school sites if assigned to itinerant cases
- Serve as a valuable resource for staff regarding communication strategies and supports
