Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services, including areas such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and both receptive and expressive language development
  • Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing to accurately assess student needs
  • Prepare clear, actionable reports based on observations and assessments
  • Develop and implement measurable IEP objectives, tailored to individual students
  • Work comfortably with students ages 2 to 22, addressing a broad spectrum of communication and developmental challenges
  • Collaborate with a team of educators and specialists to support student progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents to discuss student growth and areas for continued support

Qualifications:

  • Delaware SLP license, or eligibility to obtain one
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential required
  • Experience with students with moderate to severe disabilities is highly valued
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Flexible, resourceful problem solver
