Pediatric Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in NM
Los Alamos, NM
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year with a focus on virtual telespeech services in a school setting located in Los Alamos, NM. This position offers a four-day school week, totaling 32 hours per week, designed to provide a balanced work schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Mexico state license (NMRLD) required by start date
- NMPED certification required or in pending status at the time of hire
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
- Proficiency in teletherapy and virtual service delivery methods
- Knowledge of school-based speech-language pathology practices and caseload management
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing speech-language therapy services to students via teletherapy platforms
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Managing a caseload with consideration for age preferences, which will be discussed during the interview process
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state standards
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
