Based at one location, you'll work closely with approximately 33 students in grades 7 through 12, delivering direct and indirect speech and language services. Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in Minnesota
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience with middle and high school populations preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and other providers
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to develop individualized therapy plans and monitor student progress
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy, both individually and in small groups, targeting a caseload of around 33 students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Deliver approximately 1,500 to 2,000 minutes per month of combined direct and indirect services
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster supportive relationships with students and staff to enhance learning outcomes
- Consult with teachers and families to monitor and support student needs
