School Speech Language Pathologist - Bucksport, Maine

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for an Extended School Year (ESY) assignment beginning July 8. This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with students and collaborate with a supportive team of professionals.
You’ll be onsite each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, providing high-quality speech and language services and helping students achieve their communication goals during the ESY session.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language therapy sessions for students onsite
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Consult with teachers, families, and other team members
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the individual needs of each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
