Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates welcome
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for fostering student progress and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students across varying grade levels and abilities
  • Regularly track student progress and maintain clear documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Offer guidance and resources for classroom accommodations and carryover activities
  • Uphold best practices and stay updated with current developments in school-based speech therapy
