Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Dedicated to fostering student growth and advocating for diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across a range of ages and abilities
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to tailor interventions and track student progress
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress notes in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and participate in annual IEP and eligibility meetings
- Provide training and support to school staff regarding speech and language development
