Key Experience and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Prior experience in a school environment highly desirable
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Conduct regular therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and participation
- Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
