Grades 6 - 8 Certified School Speech Therapist | Dobbs Ferry, New York
A certified Speech-Language Pathologist is sought to provide specialized services within a school setting serving students aged 12 to 21. This contract position offers 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., starting March 1, 2026, through June 1, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver IEP-mandated speech-language pathology services to students in grades K-12
- Address the communication needs of youth, including those who may be resistant to therapy
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Utilize teletherapy or hybrid service delivery models as appropriate to meet student needs
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with resistant or challenging youth populations
- Ability to work effectively with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels (grades K-12)
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation
Location:
- Position is based in Dobbs Ferry, New York, with options for teletherapy or hybrid work arrangements
