The position offers a consistent weekday schedule, with 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. The term runs from March 1, 2026, through June 1, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, serving grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Demonstrated ability to engage and assist resistant youth in clinical or educational settings
- Comfortable with a caseload spanning ages 12-21
- Knowledgeable in providing IEP-mandated services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams
- Open to exploring teletherapy or hybrid service models
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver IEP-mandated speech-language therapy to students, adapting approaches for those who may be resistant or reluctant
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of services and student progress
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to meet student needs
- Devise and implement individualized intervention strategies across a variety of ages and school environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and updated assessments
