We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive K–12 school district near Bridgeport, Connecticut. This school-based role serves students with a wide range of communication needs, including speech and language disorders and autism spectrum disorder.

This is a full-time position for the full school year, offering a consistent schedule and a collaborative educational environment. Supervision is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide direct therapy services for K–12 students
  • Support students with diverse needs, including autism and social communication challenges
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
  • Track student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Eligible for or holding Connecticut SLP licensure
  • Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply (supervision provided)
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Position Details

  • Schedule: 37 hours per week
  • Duration: August–May (full school year)

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.92 to $60.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
