Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience providing services in school settings
- Familiarity with working with preschool-aged children, especially in both integrated and sub-separate classrooms
- Skilled in developing and implementing goals for students with a wide spectrum of needs
- Experience using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices preferred
- Strong behavior management abilities and collaborative attitude
- Effective communication skills with young children, families, and education teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy to Pre-K students
- Assess communication challenges and develop student-specific intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with classroom staff, support teams, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation & contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Tailor therapeutic approaches for students needing assistive technology and behavior supports
