Qualifications:
- Active NM SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA highly preferred
- Prior experience as a school-based SLP and/or working with pediatric populations
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy, documentation, and compliance within a school context
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and individualized therapy to K-12 students with varied speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
- Offer consultative services to staff and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in RTI, IEP meetings, and interdisciplinary team activities as needed
