School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Bolingbrook, Illinois

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active IL PEL SLP License required
- ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY candidates considered
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary and/or middle school students
- Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with staff and parents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret results
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions to meet student needs
- Write and update IEPs, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support teachers and staff with strategies to promote communication in the classroom
- Track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere that celebrates student successes
