Speech Language Pathologist in Blue Springs, MO
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a well-resourced educational setting. This onsite contract position spans the academic year from late August 2026 through May 2027. Collaborate directly with team members—including an SLP-A, who will be present several days a week—and engage with another onsite SLP for SLP-A supervision. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in school settings working with elementary-age students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and case management.
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills required.
- Ability to provide supervision and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 21 students as case manager and provide services to an overall caseload of 76 students, collaborating with an SLP-A who assists 2-3 days weekly.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans.
- Facilitate IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reporting.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student success.
- Contribute to the supervision of SLP-A as needed, with primary responsibility focused on case management.
- Maintain compliance with all required guidelines and school policies.
