Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic high school environment. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity spanning the academic year, with consistent hours from 9:00am to 4:40pm, Monday through Friday. You’ll collaborate with dedicated educational professionals and help students develop key communication skills that support their academic and social success.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Current and valid SLP license
- SLP-CCC credential
- Previous experience providing speech-language services in educational settings, preferably at the high school level
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for supporting student growth and individualized learning
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to students’ individual needs
- Prepare IEP documentation and participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with staff and families
- Consult with teachers and staff on classroom strategies for communication support
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students on your caseload
