Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Pre-K (Maternity Leave Coverage + ESY Option)
Short-Term + Potential Extension | Summer & Fall 2026
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a Pre-K maternity leave with the option to continue into ESY and potentially resume again in the fall.
Position Timeline:
- Maternity Leave Coverage: May – June 2026
- ESY Opportunity: July – August (caseload may vary, not guaranteed Pre-K)
- Potential Return Coverage: September – November 23, 2026
Position Details:
- Caseload: ~27 students (currently), with additional Early Intervention referrals expected
- Students are seen individually
- Pre-K population (during school year coverage)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Manage documentation and compliance
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Pre-K/early intervention populations
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices strongly preferred
Additional Notes:
- Coverage begins May 29, 2026
- Returning SLP is expected back November 23, 2026
- ESY placement may differ from the Pre-K caseload
