In this contract, you’ll step in as a crucial resource for a Pre-K program covering maternity leave (May–June, with potential to extend from September–November 2026 for the full academic year), and provide coverage during summer ESY (Extended School Year) in July and August. This is a fantastic setting to strengthen your resume, collaborate with diverse professionals, utilize the latest speech therapy tools (including augmentative communication devices), and develop new clinical approaches. Serving 27+ individual students, you'll engage in evaluations, IEP meetings, individual therapy, and early intervention services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings
- Comfort with individual sessions, evaluations, and IEP processes
- Familiarity with augmentative communication devices is highly valued
- Teletherapy experience a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech/language services to Pre-K and early intervention students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate in IEP meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Implement therapy using evidence-based practices, including ACC devices
- Potentially support ESY with a flexible caseload (Pre-K may not be required)
