Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans for diverse student populations
- Compassionate, with a genuine desire to support students’ success
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records, document interventions, and monitor improvements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise
- Provide education and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
