Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) required.
- Prior experience in schools, pediatric settings, or both strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of IEP processes, speech and language assessments, and targeted interventions for school-aged children.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities for working with students, families, and staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability to serve a diverse caseload and evolving school needs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students with suspected speech and language challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Deliver direct and consultative speech services in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, families, and administrators.
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to regular progress monitoring and IEP meetings.
- Participate in school professional development and stay updated on best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology.
