Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Maryland SLP license (required)
- Current CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, and/or healthcare SLP settings
- Familiarity with K-12 caseloads, IEP meetings, evaluations, and assessments
- Compassion for supporting students with varied communication needs, ranging from mild to severe
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse K-12 caseload, providing direct therapy and indirect services
- Conduct evaluations, draft IEP documents, and participate in meetings
- Travel between two assigned schools (paid travel/incentives provided)
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with educators and families
- Utilize the district’s IEP system (training provided)
- Participate in paid team meetings and receive administrative time for indirect hours
- Contribute your expertise to a supportive, student-focused environment
