A dynamic opportunity is available for two licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide expert support within a K-12 educational setting in Berkeley, CA. These full-time or part-time contract positions span the full school year, engaging with diverse student caseloads from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized speech-language therapy to students with various communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school policies.
- Support the communication development and academic success of students through targeted intervention.
Qualifications:
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 caseloads.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
