School Speech Language Pathologist - Bellevue, Nebraska
Looking for experienced Speech Language Pathologists to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students at the elementary and secondary levels. As a Speech Language Pathologist in this role, you will work full-time and collaborate closely with a supportive educational team. Responsibilities include delivering direct speech and language services, conducting comprehensive assessments for both initial evaluations and re-evaluations, creating detailed reports, and actively participating in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This position includes openings at both elementary and middle/high school levels, allowing you to leverage your expertise across a diverse student population.
Desired Skills and Requirements:
- Valid and active SLP license
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Proficiency in assessment, report writing, and IEP planning
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Perform assessments for new and existing cases
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and reports
- Develop and implement IEPs collaboratively with other staff and families
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
