This contract position offers licensed Speech-Language Pathologists the opportunity to provide essential services across multiple school sites in the Belfast, ME area. Serving students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12, this role involves a dynamic caseload generally ranging from 10 to 15 students, allowing for impactful engagement across a spectrum of developmental and communication needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech-language therapy services to students within school settings
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Managing a caseload that requires travel between various school sites
  • Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate therapy records
  • Adhering to all relevant guidelines, policies, and therapeutic best practices

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working in school-based settings with children ranging from preschool age to grade 12
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and adapt therapy approaches accordingly
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel between school sites as required

This position offers a structured schedule of 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Teletherapy services are not part of this role, emphasizing in-person interaction to best support student outcomes.
