Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Van Nuys, California

This full-time, contract role allows you to apply and grow your clinical skills within a supportive educational environment, starting in March and extending through the end of the school year in June—with options to continue into the summer and renew for the next academic year!
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California licensure (or eligibility) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Skills in teletherapy, school-based SLP, and working with moderate to severe caseloads
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including two other full-time therapists
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions for K-6th grade students
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely student documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Participate in campus meetings, progress reporting, and consult on student progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and communicative environment for students with diverse needs
Position Details:
- Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
- Single elementary school location
- Workday starts between 7:30–8:00 am and ends at 2:45–3:45 pm
- Be part of a close-knit therapy team on-campus
- On-site services only (no remote/teletherapy)
