Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Belen, NM

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Valid or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience or genuine interest in serving school-age populations, PreK through 12th grade
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school colleagues
- Familiarity with IEP process, progress monitoring, and data-driven therapy approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
- Develop and implement interventions addressing articulation, fluency, language, voice, and social communication needs
- Consult and collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and other school-based team functions
- Support carryover and generalization strategies within classroom and school activities
This is a contract position, scheduled for 40 hours per week, beginning August 3, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027. You’ll have the opportunity to serve an engaged student population across multiple age groups in a supportive and resource-rich setting.
