Desired Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico SLP license required from NMRLD and NMPED—or at minimum, in pending status by the assignment start date
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Prior pediatric or school-based SLP experience is welcomed but not mandatory
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in a diverse, school-based setting
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate on IEP teams
- Engage with families, teachers, and staff to maximize student progress and support
- Document and track student data to demonstrate intervention effectiveness
- Stay current with state and professional guidelines, participating in ongoing professional development
