Pediatric Speech Pathology - Beaverton, OR
Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students with communication needs in a school setting near Beaverton, OR. This onsite role runs from March through the end of the school year, providing a rewarding blend of responsibilities within both a dynamic elementary school (four days per week) and a specialized educational program (one day per week). You’ll work a consistent 37.5-hour schedule each week.
Candidates with experience working in Early Childhood Education are strongly preferred, as this position centers around supporting young learners at critical stages of their growth and development.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC, or eligible CFY
- Background in pediatric speech-language therapy, especially in a school or healthcare environment
- Experience or strong interest in Early Childhood Education
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions for elementary-age students
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to onsite presence throughout the assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, therapy, and consultation services for elementary students and those in specialized programs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Employ both direct and consultative models with students, teachers, and staff
- Track progress and adjust interventions as necessary to promote meaningful student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to holistic student care
