Qualified candidates will bring:
- An active Virginia SLPA license (State/Discipline specific requirement)
- Experience or strong interest in serving K-12 aged students within a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced educational environment
- Strong collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, families, and other specialists
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for students
- Providing direct therapy services to meet IEP goals
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports
- Partnering with teachers and parents to support student achievement
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to team planning
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities
