- Valid and active Speech Language Pathologist license in Virginia (SLP Virginia)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation and teletherapy platforms
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans addressing educational and functional needs
- Deliver direct and consultative services, collaborating with teachers, parents, and related professionals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Adapt therapy approaches for diverse age groups and student abilities
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team goals
