This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to support a caseload of approximately 80 children, helping them reach important communication and academic milestones. The role is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about pediatric care, looking to work in a collaborative, school-based setting. There is also potential to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), expanding your leadership experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric and/or elementary school settings
- Strong background in teletherapy and onsite service delivery
- Proficiency in assessments, intervention planning, and IEP documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience with supervision of assistants preferred, but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to a caseload of approximately 80 elementary students
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation for student progress and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Potentially supervise and support a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Be flexible regarding onsite or virtual (VOCO) service delivery, with initial prioritization of onsite involvement
As part of this role, you’ll be working Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, making a tangible impact as part of an interdisciplinary team.
