Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) for school-based SLP work
- Previous experience serving pediatric and elementary-aged students
- Knowledge of both traditional and teletherapy delivery models
- Comfort with supervising and mentoring Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA), or an openness to do so
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 80 elementary students
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
- Possibility of supervising an SLPA, fostering a positive and constructive learning environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives to support student success
- Deliver services onsite, with the option to transition into teletherapy after the initial week if onsite opportunities are not available
