Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status from ASHA
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders in children and adolescents
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for eligible students
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students at both elementary and secondary levels, with a primary focus on elementary caseloads
- Support students in specialized secondary units as needed
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Maintain accurate records and data documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Educate and support families and staff regarding students’ speech-language needs
