School Speech-Language Pathologist
Soliant is seeking a versatile, PEL-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who can work with both Early Childhood and school-aged students. Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License, issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Professional Educators' License (PEL), issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
Pay and benefits:
- Hourly, W2 pay of $50-$55
- Health, vision and dental insurance coverage
- Employer-matched 401(k)
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Present evaluation results and propose IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals at IEP meetings
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
