Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Valid IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Active Illinois SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish & English essential
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage variable caseloads and collaborate across teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to support academic and social success
- Maintain accurate case notes and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
