Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Illinois SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Prior experience in a school environment preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Role Highlights:
- Serve a diverse middle school caseload (typically around 45 students, per workload model)
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to foster student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Support delivery of services on-site at a single location or across multiple schools, as needed
This is an on-site only opportunity—remote/virtual arrangements are not available for this assignment. The position offers a consistent, school-year schedule of approximately 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), with some flexibility for candidates seeking part-time employment.
