School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Illinois
Exciting full-time opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about supporting school-aged children and adolescents during pivotal moments in their academic journeys. Two contract positions are open to cover maternity leaves, providing vital continuity of care for students and a chance to build meaningful connections in educational environments.
The first assignment begins in late October or early November and continues through December 18, 2026. In this role, you'll work with students at both a middle school and an elementary school, providing comprehensive speech and language services. The second assignment starts in December and extends through May 2027. This role will focus on serving high school students, supporting their communication needs during an important stage of their development.
What You'll Need:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC preferred, SLP-CF considered)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois
- School-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Strong clinical skills and adaptability across diverse school populations
- Team-focused mindset and excellent communication abilities
In These Roles, You Will:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services to support students' speech, language, and communication growth
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Monitor student progress, document services, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Foster an encouraging, inclusive environment for all learners
