School Speech Language Pathologist - Chicago, Illinois

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (verification link provided)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience serving middle or secondary school students preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, data tracking, and reporting
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students’ language, articulation, and communication skills
- Develop and implement effective, individualized IEPs
- Collect and assess data on students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and IEP team members to maximize student progress
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and provide thorough reports
